Near Oudtshoorn, Swartberge 
in the distance, red hills closer by, 
a farm is being transformed into 
a destination. The most neglected farm in the area were bought in 2006 by Danie du Plessis and 
Wim Rheeder who wanted an escape from the busy city life. 
They had the vision to facelift the neglect to an area that inspires visually and creatively and that in the Klein Karoo. 
It has been hard work to clean-up, renovate and basically starting from scratch to turn the once run-down dairy farm into an art and guest farm. The farm was renamed to their design studio in Cape Town - Jamstreet. A lot has been accomplished so far but it remains work in progress.
